The enormous amounts of ashes... seriously inhibit worldwide air traffic, many European airports are closed or are only opened for short periods of time.

At the moment, it is impossible to anticipate the further developments. This regards changes in both the current situation and Airfreight fares.

As a mentionable amount of backlog has accumulated we do have to point out that there will be further delays in air cargo shipping even after the airports are reopened.

We do of course invest all our strength in rerouting your Airfreight shipments through areas not affected by these events and in finding substitute shipping solutions such as truck, ship or rail.
